Gloom Facts

Her username has been assumed to have originated from the moniker of a Pokémon known as Gloom.

She was baptised at the age of 2 years.

Gloom spent most of her time in Singapore, when she was younger. She has also resided in Toronto.

She has recalled that during her middle school, she met a girl named Ashleigh, who became her best pal.

Gloom worked a number of odd jobs before her YouTube career, which has included being a waitress. She has stated that working at several places had helped her to overcome her acute shyness.

She launched her lifestyle-themed YouTube channel CloudyApples in February, 2011, introducing herself online. After that, she took a two-year break and came back to it in February 2013 when she removed all her old videos. Gloom uploaded beauty content to CloudyApples. She decided to move on, and formed the gaming YouTube channel titled GloomGames in September of 2015, that got named Gloom later on. She also joined the ICON YouTube network.

In her clip I’m Coming Out, Gloom had come out as pansexual.
